QueryClick approached me to be their first creative director.

I completely overhauled everything from logo, website and visuals down to folder structure, email signatures, document styles and more.

Search marketing is about as exciting as the queue at the post office. It’s also filled with needless acronyms, and pointless jargon.

QueryClick needed to cut through the bullshit, but retain a sense of authority. They needed to avoid SEO’s bad rep’ and scepticism and push transparency and honesty.

My approach was to emphasise clarity over brevity and to make sure everything was approachable and accessible for the target audience.

It was also important to pull no punches when it came to standing out.

The work included internal and external websites, a full suite of stationary, document templates, copywriting, illustrations, signage, print design, beer glasses, rubber stamps and loads more.
